The College comprises of fourteen fully established teaching departments as per norms laid by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, with well qualified, efficient, learned, trained and supportive teaching staff. Teaching methodology includes personal attention and interaction with students.

DEPARTMENT OF SANSKRIT, SAMHITA, AND SIDHHANTA (BASIC PRINCIPLES)

• Students learn Sanskrit grammar, reading, spoken Sanskrit
• Basic Principles of Ayurveda
• History of Ayurveda
• Application of Indian and Western Philosophies in Ayurveda
• Learning of Ancient Ayurvedic Treatises with clinical application and approach.

DEPARTMENT OF SHARIRA RACHANA (ANATOMY)

• Practical and theoretical trainings to understand the external and internal structures of human bodies
• Practice of dissection on cadaver to explore internal organs in dissection hall
• Dummy models of human body in well established Museum
• Ayurvedic principles of body, mind and soul.

DEPARTMENT OF SHARIRA KRIYA (PHYSIOLOGY)

• Practical and theoretical training for normal living body function
• Principles and practice of Ayurvedic and modern system of physiology
• Laboratory technique to assess normal functioning body.
• Learning to assess Prakriti (temperament) as per Tridosha – Vata, Pitta and Kapha

DEPARTMENT OF SHARIRA KRIYA (PHYSIOLOGY)

DEPARTMENT OF ROGA VIJNANA & VIKRITI VIJNANA (PATHOLOGY)

• Learning the technique of clinical examination of patients as per Ayurvedic and Modern principles of diagnosis.
• Learning of modern investigation methodologies viz. pathology, biochemistry, radiology,ECG etc. in laboratory and hospitals
• Learning theory of disease and patients.
• Learning of Prakriti Parikshana and Nadi Pariksha.

DEPARTMENT OF DRAVYAGUNA (PHARMACOLOGY & PHARMACOGNOSY)

• Study fundamental principles of Ayurvedic raw materials with their application and uses.
• Theory and practicals on Ayurvedic raw materials like herbs, minerals and animal products with modern technology.
• Standardization and analysis of ingredients as per modern and Ayurvedic methodology at well equipped modern analytical laboratory in department.
• Study of pharmacology and therapeutics
• Study of cultivation and plantation of medicinal plants.
• In-house storage of genuine samples of raw materials for further references Medicinal plants garden with more than 400 species.

DEPARTMENT OF RASA SHASTRA AND BHAISHAJYA KALPANA (PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE )

• Fundamental principles of manufacturing of formulae.
• Study and practical training of manufacturing of various types of presentation of dosages like powder, decoction, pills, tablets, oil, ghee, ointment, Asava, Arishta, Rasa Yoga, Avaleha, Bhasma, syrup, etc.
• Ayurvedic and modern pharmacy training and learning.
• Skillful training for collection, storage, purification and utilization of ingredients.

DEPARTMENT OF SWASTHAVRITTA AND YOGA (PREVENTIVE & SOCIAL MEDICINE)

• Subject deals with theory and practical application for maintenance of positive health Principles and application of Yogic practice.
• Theory of preventive and social medicine
• Adoption of regimen described for daily routine, seasonal routines, healthy tips etc.
• Importance of good behavior in prevention of mental and spiritual misbehaviors.

DEPARTMENT OF AGADA TANTRA & VYAVAHARA AYURVEDA (TOXICOLOGY AND MEDICAL JURISPRUDENCE)

• Study of characters and treatment of toxic substances of different sources.
• Study of accidental death, suicides, poisoning etc. in connection with forensic medicines.
• Study of various laws related to medical sciences and applications.
• Collections of poisonous drugs, arms etc in museum for study purpose.

DEPARTMENT OF KAYACHIKITSA (GENERAL MEDICINE)

• Deals with fundamentals of treatment of diseases
• Learning the clinical skill for diagnosis and treatment modalities as per principles of Ayurveda.
• Students have to attend outpatient department and indoor patient department for practical learning.
• Dispensing of medicine as per individual patients.
• Principles and practice of different regimens with follow ups.

DEPARTMENT OF PANCHAKARMA (BIO PURIFICATION)

• Deals with fundamentals of treatment of diseases through Panchakarma
• Treatment methodology is required for purification of body. By means of elimination of toxins form the body.
• Study of Panchakarma with practical demonstration carried out for patients.
• Difficult and chronic cases are treated in hospital with very specific mode of therapy, physiotherapy, massage, sauna bath, medicated enema, etc.

DEPARTMENT OF SHALYATANTRA ( SURGERY )

• Study of ancient surgical procedures described in treatises
• Clinical and surgical applications of various treatment modalities.
• Successful treatment for piles and fistula as per Ayurvedic methodology
• Treatment of chronic diseases with blood letting through leeches.
• Practical training of surgical procedures on patients at well equipped operation theatre and procedure room.
• Preparation and usage of Ksharasutra therapy.

DEPARTMENT OF SHALAKYA TANTRA (ENT, OPHTHALMOLOGY & ORO-DENTAL)

• Theoretical and clinical study of fundamentals of medicaments and surgical applications of diseases related to head, eyes, ears, throat, oral cavity, teeth, gums.
• Well equipped procedure rooms for treatment of various ailments related to science.

DEPARTMENT OF PRASUTI TANTRA & STRI- ROGA (OBSTETRICS-GYNAECOLOGY )

• Theoretical, practical applications and treatment of diseases related to before, during and after the pregnancy period.
• Study the fundamental principles of diagnosis with modern methodology of diseases and treatment of female patients suffering from genital disorders.
• Practical approach of care with Ayurvedic treatment modalities for improvement of quality life of female patients and also expected mother with Garbha Samskar, Pumsavan Karma etc.

DEPARTMENT OF KAUMARBHRITYAM (PAEDIATRICS)

• Deals with study and clinical diagnostic approach and treatment related to disease of children.
• Study and planning of Child care management with comprehensive approach to grow a better child.
• Clinical approach for Swarna Prashan for improvement of child healthcare and immunity of children.
• Study of child care starting before birth up to age of sixteen.
• Study and clinical application of diet chart for under and overweight children.
